Jemese LaChel Drewery, MSW, LCSW is a speaker, Christian trauma therapist, and faith-based mentor for women. She holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work and is a board-licensed clinical social worker. She is widely recognized for her expertise in sexual trauma recovery and women’s mental health, integrating clinical excellence with Christ-centered, faith-based care.
Jemese is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and the CEO of Grace Abides Christian Counseling, where she leads women through trauma recovery, emotional healing, and spiritual restoration.
Her work is grounded in both professional training and personal transformation. She openly shares her testimony of redemption—having once walked through seasons marked by broken relationships, instability, and addiction, as well as involvement in New Age spirituality and occult practices—before encountering the transforming grace of God that redirected and restored her life.
Today, Jemese serves as a Christian counselor, speaker, and inner healing and deliverance minister, equipping women with biblical literacy, identity in Christ, and practical tools for emotional and spiritual healing. Her work focuses on helping high-achieving and faith-driven women move beyond survival and coping into wholeness, freedom, and restored intimacy with God, themselves, and others.
Through her clinical work and ministry, she is committed to seeing women healed from trauma and empowered to rebuild their lives on a foundation of truth, faith, and emotional health.
