✝️ Helping High Achieving Christian Women Heal Trauma & Build Better Relationships with God, Self & Others
🎙️ A New Creation Podcast
⬇️ Start Here

It’s been an incredible ride letting Jesus take th It’s been an incredible ride letting Jesus take the reins and show me how to maintain the healing and deliverance He gave me.

Currently it’s all about grasping the brain science behind why we function differently after trauma and gaining confidence around building daily habits that support a softer, gentler way of life.

Scripture tells us that our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit and that means we should steward these bodies well—including our nervous system.

I’m not saying focusing here is going to help everyone but for many women who find my work…it is the missing component.

It doesn’t require a lot.

Just attention.

Which will you try?

If you are a high achieving Christian woman who needs support with healing after trauma DM me.

#christiancounselor #faithbasedliving #slowerliving #nervoussystemreset
Part 2 // I can’t possibly imagine why the Lord ha Part 2 // I can’t possibly imagine why the Lord has me out here sharing this with you but I trust this message will find the exact right woman who needs to hear it.

Jesus can deliver you.

Deliverance is not just what you see on social media.

It doesn’t have to be showy or loud.

It can be gentle as a touch from the Spirit of the Lord during a car ride home because when you asked Him for the healing He responded 🔥🙌🏾

In a previous video I shared about a trigger that popped up after literally YEARS. This video is the other side.

Because it’s not good enough for God to just show you the trigger; He is in the business of healing that goes to the roots. Amen?

It took 2 simple steps:

1. Honest Surrender. Submitting the trigger to Him through prayer.

2. Tracing the root. Letting the Holy Spirit reveal to me where it came from.

This work would have taken me multiple sessions to process in traditional psychotherapy. That approach is fine and works. But if you want a faith-based way to move through this with Jesus, you’re gonna want to listen to the end.

Heads up, I’m sharing like I’m talking to a friend so this isn’t instagram cute & aestechic. But it is real.

Hint: tap and hold towards the middle right edge of the video and it’ll put me on 2x so that my 9-min yap fest is closer to 4min 🙂

Oh and I should add:

‼️⚠️ content warning: brief mention of being s*xually assaulted in a medical setting. I don’t go into details but mention it happened as part of the context for this story.

Happy healing. And if something I shared pricks your heart and you feel seen, ready to surrender and know that you need help to walk through it please DM me because it’s the exact work I do each day with the women I serve as a Christian trauma therapist, coach and mentor.

This is for you if you’ve ever said “ I should be This is for you if you’ve ever said “ I should be further along in my healing journey” or “ this shouldn’t trigger me after all this time”

You can press and hold down the top right corner to speed go the video because this is 10min long but worth it!

#biblicalcounseling #faithbasedtherapy #christianmentalhealth #traumarecovery
This might ruffle some feathers, but sometimes the This might ruffle some feathers, but sometimes the problem is you.

And yes, I know people won’t like that I said it. But I’m still not going to water it down.

Because in 2020 I was sitting across from a divorce attorney.

Not because God told me my marriage was over, but because the voice of trauma was speaking louder than the voice of God.

I could not see clearly. Everything I looked at was filtered through old wounds.

So even if my husband was wrong, I was in the wrong too, because I was believing lies and slowly tearing down the very thing I had prayed for.

We do this more often than we think.

Then I met Jesus, for real.

Not just the idea of Him but the Living God. And He didn’t just comfort me.

He showed me... me.

He showed me my own sin, my own complicitness.

I know culture hates to hear about this Jesus who convicts us of our sin, but I’m glad culture’s Jesus didn’t meet me that day. Because that Jesus cannot save.

By walking with the Lord, being honest, doing the work, and letting God deal with me from the inside out… my marriage wasn’t just saved, my whole household changed.

The little bit of light we had left in our marriage grew, and that was enough for God to do what only He can do.

Now we’re over a decade in this thing together 💅💍

I’m not speaking from theory or just a degree, although I do have the clinical background. I lived this.

Unhealed trauma and a completely dysregulated nervous system had me fighting against my own marriage before I ever learned how to fight for it.

But I found the answer.

My encouragement: if you’re looking for change, start in the mirror.

Own your part. That doesn’t excuse anyone else, but your healing is still your responsibility.

Fix your side of the street. Let God handle the rest.

And if you’re ready for real change, DM me and let’s talk about what growth actually looks like for you.

#christiantherapy #biblicalcounseling #marriagegodsway
Your heart will wander until it finds rest in Him. Your heart will wander until it finds rest in Him.

// John 14:27 says: Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

//Hebrews 13:20 says: Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

// Philippians 4:7 says: And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Baby nothing compares to that Christ kind of peace!

Spa days and self care are great, but don’t let jt fool you into thinking that’s where your peace comes from.

We can be peaceful in a storm because of Jesus.

This world may be burning but we remain at peace because of Jesus.

People wonder why you’re able to bear so much and you can tell them: Jesus!

May this be your reminder to draw deep from that eternal well of peace that passes understanding.
